Utorrent command line windows

Can anyone help me with this? But I have another question: uTorrent is not responding from time to time. I thought i could write a batch file that checks if utorrent. This is the line:. I can't really test this without waiting for utorrent to stop working but when I run this batch when utorrent is responding utorrent becomes the active window. I thought as long as utorrent is responding nothing should happen?

I added a task in the scheduler that runs this batch every 15 minutes. After an hour or two I checked the tasklist and there where a couple of utorrent. Is there something wrong with my code? How do I check if utorrent is responding and, if not, kill it and then start it again? When I run this manually when utorrent is responding nothing happens. But when I start the task in the scheduler after some time the gui and the tray icon are gone but tasklist shows utorrent. I have found freewre pskill by Sysinternals is easily the best utility to kill utorrent.

I'm too tired to open up all 16 versions of uT to find it?? Sorry, I can't find it, I think it may have been a 1. I don't see any changes is all: build - Change: Scheduler limit doesn't apply if in turn-off mode.

I switched to using wget for this stuff:. Posted December 30, Hugo I havnt been able to find a documentation about the webui parameters, i asume you got them from viewing them in your browser, anyway idea how we could find out how the webui send the URL for add torrent? Ultima Posted December 30, Most of the common command-line clients should compile under cygwin in Windows.

I have rtorrent running this way on a couple of Windows machines. Edit: another thought: I assume that Python based clients should run under Windows too if you install Python.

Though off the top of my head I can't think of such a client that is actively maintained the original "official" client was Python based, but IIRC uTurrent has replaced that. Also, aria2 supports torrents. It's a multi-platform project Win32 included. I know Transmission has a command line client for its Unix releases that is called transmission-cli.
