Problem installing money plus using vista

Switch to that user and install Money. The theory is that if the problem is an IE or other setting, you will get default settings for the new user. If you succeed this way, it would accomplish the download, and it would point toward the reason the other did not work.

Third time is a charm. I went back to Vista, uninstalled Money and then reinstalled to check validity of the install file. I then uninstalled from Win 7, ran as Admin and it works great! Friday, May 22, PM. All the sounds were there after install and the application has been working fine since.

When changing Aero Themes using personalize after right-clicking on the desktop I found that there was no sound in MS Money the Money section still existed in sounds but with no sound file associated with any entry. After some trial and error, this solved the problem perfectly.

I just needed to edit the registry file I simply used notepad to change each case of 'Program Files' to 'Program Files x86 ' which was the default installation folder under Win7 64 bit.

The sounds money uses is added to your current Windows sound theme, so if you change it, like changing the Windows theme background, glasscolor, cursors and sounds , it will change the sound theme to another without the sounds.
